Welcome graphic

Hello, my name is Erik.  Like many other blokes I spend my spare time researching aviation history and building plastic airplane models.  A friend of mine suggested that I build a site where people can view images of my models, though I haven't ruled out the possibility that I'm the only one who ever comes here.  Hmm...  Excepting the page titled "Aircraft of the Great War", the models featured here represent planes from World War II and all represent a particular pilot. Growing up directly under the approach to NAS North Island kinda burned me out on jets, so you won't find any replicas of 'pointy blow torches' in my collection.

Just in case I'm not the only one here though, I'm actually gonna write some jibberish and scatter it among the photos. Sometimes I'll spew at length on a subject that I find interesting based on literature I couldn't possibly have written myself, but I'm probably not going to bore the reader with modeling techniques.  I don't claim to be an expert modeler, I just have alot of fun doing it.
